LeBolleBlu Edizioni  is a little independent publisher established in 2010 and grounded on a great passion for literature and publishing.

We are an enthusiastic team and we avail ourselves of the collaboration of some young but accredited professionals in the field of graphics and communication.

LeBolleBlu guiding principle is strict fidelity to what Italo Calvino wrote in his Six Memos For The Next Millennium about “lightness”. We mean to publish Italian and foreign literature: books light as bubbles, flexible, extremely mobile, and acting like vectors: thus, lightness and agility –both in content and expression– are what you have to look for in our books. To us, light doesn’t mean superficial nor necessarily funny: light can be funny, but doesn’t have to: it can mean a lot of things. And different interpretations of “lightness” are exactly what we mean to investigate within our project.

Of course, we are just at the beginnings. Our only chance of succeeding in such a tough and overcrowded field is to be extremely quality-oriented. This means publishing a small number of highly-selected titles and taking care of every detail.
